About me
Since 1995, I've held various positions in Amadeus North America, Inc including Customer Support Professional, Technical Trainer, Instructional Technologist, and currently Employee Training and Development Team Lead. I've been responsible for the implementation of blogs, wikis, discussion forums, search portals, podcasting, and mobile learning. This year I'm looking at implementing Social Networking and possibly Twitter components into our corporate university. I try to keep up and learn the new Social Media trends and how they can benefit the company and myself of course. Most importantly I love to share the knowledge I gain with anyone interested and learn from others.My team is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our help desk and Sales force in the form of classroom, virtual, multimedia, and eLearning and administering all enrollment activities for internal and external customers. We are also responsible for developing eLearning courses for external customers for our corporate university.
My ideal job is to work for a company that offers flexible hours, encourages self management, offers room to grow, and loves to takes risks.
A little more about me...
I'm married and the proud mother of two children and two doggies. I was born in New York but a Dominican at heart. I love the simple things in life such as hanging out with my friends and family and just laughing. I'm very down to earth, loyal, and a fun person and I like to associate myself with the same kind of people. Life is too complicated as is, why add more to it?
I'm a blogger, designer, collaborator, and a social media enthusiast with a slight addiction to all things gadgets. I love to learn and develop new things. In my spare time I love testing new ways of using Social Media to collaborate with others and sharing my reviews.
